A Message from Dr. Greg Barnes, Superintendent

On behalf of the Seward Public Schools Board of Education, I would like to thank you for taking the time to become informed and offer opinions on issues that effect the education of the children in the Seward Public School District.  School facilities are an important part of educational programming, and providing safe buildings that are conducive to learning is a priority. 

The purpose of this website is to serve as a communication tool for the public regarding information related to our middle school building project.  We would like this site to be as interactive as possible with timely updates and an opportunity to ask questions related to this information. 

I am certain that after exploring this site, you will find it very informative in regard to historical information about the age of our current building, the latest information, and future projections for proposed solutions regarding our project to build a new middle school.  Please keep in mind that the many of the proposals or answers offered on this website are preliminary and will become more clear over the next few months.

I personally would like to thank you for being actively involved in the process and I would encourage you to review this information, ask any questions you might have, and give us your input.  We know there will be varying opinions, but each and every opinion is valued.
